Frederic is a Corporate/M&A partner and the head of Corporate/M&A in Paris.

He focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, joint-ventures and corporate reorganisations. He regularly advises listed and non-listed companies on complex and strategic corporate transactions, with particular expertise in multijurisdictional transactions. He also has extensive experience in stock exchange–related transactions.

Frédéric is ranked as a "Leading Individual" for Corporate/M&A by Legal 500 EMEA 2025 and by Chambers France 2026. IFLR1000 Leading Lawyers 2025 describes him as "Highly regarded" for M&A and private equity.

    • its € 18 billion acquisition of UK Power Networks Holdings Limited, a leading electricity distribution operator in the UK
    • the sale and prior reorganisation of Equans, a global multi-technical services leader, to Bouygues for €7.1 billion
    • the creation of Ocean Winds, a co-controlled 50/50 joint-venture in fixed and floating offshore wind with EDPR, a global leader in the renewable energy sector based in France and Spain 
  • Air Liquide on:
    • the divestiture of its biogas / biomethane production activities in the United States of America, France, Norway and Sweden to Mobius Renewables (backed by IFM Investors)
    • the sale of its French liquid natural gas distribution business to the Spanish company Molgas, the European market leader in the distribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
  • Orange on:
    • the entry into an exclusivity agreement with Morrison to create a jointly controlled data centre company located in France
    • the sale of the Fime group, a global leader specialising in testing and certification services for electronic transactions

    • the negotiation of a partnership agreement with Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts Group), in the framework of France 2030 regarding the financing and development of a major lithium project in France (Project Emili)
    • the acquisition of the European diatomite and perlite activities of Chemviron

    • the sale of its car wholesale and retail activities for Audi in Vietnam
    • on its joint investment by way of a capital increase with Mobility54 in InTouch, a major player in payment solutions and digital services in Africa
  • Nexity,  France’s leading integrated real estate group, on the acquisition of the Angelotti group, the regional leader in property development and urban planning in Occitania in the south of France
  • Gecina on its proposed EUR 1.8 billion public offer for Foncière de Paris, a French listed real estate investment trust

Background

Frédéric is a member of the Paris Bar Association and speaks fluent English. He holds a Master in Business Law, Tax Policy and Accounting, a DESS in International Law, a DJCE in International Business Law and a DEA in Business Law from the University of Aix en Provence.
