Frederic is a Corporate/M&A partner and the head of Corporate/M&A in Paris.

He focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, joint-ventures and corporate reorganisations. He regularly advises listed and non-listed companies on complex and strategic corporate transactions, with particular expertise in multijurisdictional transactions. He also has extensive experience in stock exchange–related transactions.

Frédéric is ranked as a "Leading Individual" for Corporate/M&A by Legal 500 EMEA 2025 and by Chambers France 2026. IFLR1000 Leading Lawyers 2025 describes him as "Highly regarded" for M&A and private equity.

  • Imerys on the acquisition of the European diatomite and perlite activities of Chemviron 
  • Engie on several strategic operations including:
    • the sale and prior reorganisation of Equans, a global multi-technical services leader, to Bouygues for €7.1 billion
    • the creation of Ocean Winds, a co-controlled 50/50 joint-venture in fixed and floating offshore wind with EDPR, a global leader in the renewable energy sector based in France and Spain 
  • Air Liquide in relation to the sale of its French liquid natural gas distribution business to the Spanish company Molgas, the European market leader in the distribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
  • Orange on the sale of the Fime group, a global leader specialising in testing and certification services for electronic transactions

Background

Frédéric is a member of the Paris Bar Association and speaks fluent English. He holds a Master in Business Law, Tax Policy and Accounting, a DESS in International Law, a DJCE in International Business Law and a DEA in Business Law from the University of Aix en Provence.
