Background
Giovanni is dual qualified (England & Wales, and Italy). He first qualified in Milan (Italy) and practiced as an Italian lawyer for several years before qualifying in England & Wales and joining Herbert Smith Freehills’ M&A team in London in 2026. Giovanni holds a Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza (J.D. equivalent), and a Master in Corporate Law from the University of Cambridge (Wolfson College).
