Hannah is a senior associate in the Corporate Energy and Resources team. 

Hannah is an energy, resources and infrastructure transactional lawyer. Hannah assists mining and infrastructure clients on a range of transactions/projects including joint ventures, M&A, commodity sale and marketing arrangements, earn-in and alliances, structuring, logistics, royalties, and carbon credit transactions. She also advises on general corporate and commercial matters. Hannah assists clients on projects across Australia and globally.

Hannah has spent time in HSF Kramer’s Singapore office where she gained experience advising on cross-border M&A transactions across Southeast Asia.

  • BHP in relation to the US$2 billion infrastructure agreement with Global Infrastructure Partners on WAIO inland power
  • South32 in relation to the sale of Illawarra Metallurgical Coal for up to US$1.65 billion
  • A client on the formation of a JV for a direct reduced iron – electric smelting furnace (DRI-ESF) pilot project
  • Astron Corporation on the farm-in and JV agreement with Energy Fuels in relation to the Donald Rare Earths and Mineral Sands project in Victoria
  • BHP in relation to the sale of its interest in BMC for US$1.35 billion
  • A client on tolling arrangements for its deep-sea mining project
  • A number of clients on commodity offtake and marketing arrangments across a range of commodities and projects globally, including critical minerals such as vanadium, rare earths and lithium.

Background

Hannah has a Bachelor of Law (Honours Class I) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance major) from the University of Queensland.
