Ieva Fiddes is a London-based associate in our construction and engineering team, advising clients on complex UK and international projects across energy, infrastructure and real estate.
Ieva advises on the procurement, delivery and operation of major construction and engineering projects, across renewable power, infrastructure and real estate sectors. Her experience includes JCT, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE and LOGIC standard forms, bespoke construction contracts, operation and maintenance arrangements, and long-term services agreements.
She also spent eight months on secondment to a global offshore wind contractor, advising on EPC contracts and gaining valuable insight into contractor-side risk allocation and project delivery.

- Sandbrook Capital and Voltwise Power on due diligence of construction supply chain and O&M contracts in connection with the acquisition and financing of a UK BESS portfolio comprising 320MW of operating assets, 140MW under construction, and a pipeline of development-stage projects in the UK.
- Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on EPC contract for a new anaerobic digestion (biogas) plant in Spain.
- Data centre operator on an EPC contract for the development of a data centre in the Netherlands.
- Statera Energy on lender-facing due diligence of construction supply chain and O&M contracts in connection with the construction financing of its Carrington 680MW BESS project, involving a highly disaggregated procurement strategy.
- Canary Wharf Group on a framework agreement, intragroup development agreement, trade contracts and professional appointments for the redevelopment of One Canada Square.

Background
Ieva completed her LLB in Law at Mykolas Romeris University (in Lithuania) and MA in Political Science at the UCL before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course. Ieva was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2021.
