Isabela is an experienced lawyer focusing on structured, limited recourse and corporate debt transactions. She regularly advises banks, funds, and major corporates on complex finance transactions across various jurisdictions in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She has spent a portion of her career working in Singapore.
Isabela was previously Head of Legal for the real estate development debt division of an investment manager in London.
She is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in Italian.

- advising the lenders, comprising Standard Chartered Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, MUFG Bank Ltd., Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, DBS Bank and BNP Paribas, on a c.US$560 million dual currency (US$/JPY) financing for Brookfield-backed Evren Energy's 300MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India
- Seatrium (a Singapore based shipbuilding corporation) on a US$250 million financing agreement with a subsidiary of Maersk Offshore Wind in relation to a next generation offshore wind installation vessel which, among other things, is for deployment of wind farms for Equinor's Empire Wind Project in the US. The financing was the outcome of settlement of the arbitrations between Maersk's subsidiary and Seatrium in connection with the delayed delivery of the vessel by Seatrium as builder
- advising a Thai sponsor on a US$550m project financing to support its development and construction of a greenfield data centre in Thailand*
- advising a leading global alternative asset manager on a facility for its investment in units of an infrastructure investment trust which owns a cross-country natural gas pipeline in India*
- advising the arrangers on a secured senior loan facility for a Vietnamese conglomerate to finance its working capital and capital expenditure requirements for its electric vehicle business*
