Justin is a lawyer with the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team in Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Prolegis Alliance and specialises in infrastructure and energy related projects both in Singapore and in the region.

He has a wide range of experience advising and acting for key stakeholders such as state or state-affiliated entities, developers, contractors, consultants and suppliers, projects across multiple sectors including digital infrastructure, renewables, transport, manufacturing and social. 

Justin also has experience in drafting, reviewing, and advising on various project-related agreements with emphasis on procurement and construction documentation ranging from construction contracts (whether bespoke, Singapore or international standard forms), tender documentation, consultancy agreements, supply and services agreements.

  • a real estate private equity fund with their procurement template documentation for data centre developments in Indonesia including professional services, general contractor and long-lead equipment supply agreements
  • a leading American data center developer and operator in all aspects of their procurement and development of its hyperscale data centres in Malaysia including various construction and supply agreements
  • a joint venture comprising a leading Chinese headquartered solar photovoltaic manufacturer and a major Indonesian energy and infrastructure conglomerate on all aspects of the development of a Solar Manufacturing Plant Development in the Indonesia including particularly drafting of contract documents across multiple EPC construction, supply, services and other trade packages
  • a Japanese and Indonesian consortium with their project documentation for a palm oil effluent to biomethane refinement plant development in Indonesia including drafting and amending FEED and EPC agreements
  • a pharmaceutical MNC with project documentation based on FIDIC form (including consultancy, D&B, specialist equipment supply agreements) on the development of their bio-technological manufacturing facility in Singapore* 
  • a government ministry and a state-affiliated entity in Singapore's healthcare and social sectors providing advisory work and reviewing tender documentation in relation to their various construction and consultancy tenders as well as operation & maintenance agreements*
