Nicola is an associate in the London Competition, Regulation and Trade group.

Nicola began her career as a Solicitor in the Sydney Office. She has experience in competition and markets investigations and litigation, now specialising in competition litigation.

Nicola has assisted major Australian and international companies and banking institutions in complex regulatory engagement and litigation, including investigations and hearings.

Nicola holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Communications (Public Communications) from the University of Technology, Sydney, graduating with a distinction average.

  • advising a technology company in its defence of a UK CPO claim commenced in the Competition Appeal Tribunal
  • advising a global institutional bank in relation to an investigation by ASIC into various alleged contraventions of the Corporations Act and ASIC Act, including market manipulation and unconscionable conduct
  • advising a banking institution in the ACCC determination process and its successful application in the second review by the Australian Competition Tribunal under the new authorisation regime of the CCA
  • advising a global telecommunications company intervening in the first review by the Australian Competition Tribunal
