Nicolas is a member of the funds practice and advises clients on general investment fund and regulatory matters in relation to Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles, both within a domestic and cross-border context.

He also regularly assists clients on matters relating to the structuring and ongoing operations of funds, and has experience in advising institutional investors in relation to their investments in funds established in Luxembourg. Nicolas is also regularly involved in cross-border fund financing transactions. 

Nicolas joined the firm in 2025, prior to which he worked for a leading law firm and a magic circle law firm, in Luxembourg.

  • Arkéa Asset Management in relation to creation two new ELTIF compartments of Arkéa's infrastructure debt platform, as part of Arkéa's Core and Impact infrastructure debt strategies
  • Aviva on the setting-up of a club deal between the investors to invest in an Australian Trust. The deal required the articulation of EU and Australian regulatory combination and alignment of interests between all investors
  • BNP Paribas Asset Management Europe on the establishment of an evergreen Luxembourg Reserved Alternative Investment Fund (RAIF) in which a UK LTAF feeder fund dedicated to pension funds will be investing
  • The private equity branch of a global family-owned investment house on the launch of a Luxembourg unregulated investment vehicle structured as a RAIF, with an initial target size of USD 150 million, with a private equity, secondary investments and co-investment strategy
  • Spanish sovereign fund in relation to its investment as a limited partner, through its Social Impact Fund (SIF), in Impact Growth V, a French fund managed by Impact Partners, a French Asset Manager

Nicolas holds a law degree from Liège University, in Belgium (2016) and a master in management from HEC Liège (Belgium).
