Nonnabhat (Niab) Paiboon has extensive experience advising Thai and international clients on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across various sectors, including banks and financial services, consumer, energy, TMT, food and beverage, automotive, manufacturing and industrials, and private capital. Niab has been involved in some of the most unique and significant M&A transactions in the country.
Nonnabhat excels in structuring and negotiating cross-border deals, as well as the acquisition and divestiture of corporate divisions. She supports clients with their outbound business expansions and provides guidance to multinational conglomerates on foreign direct investment and market entry strategies. Her established capability encompasses the full range of mergers and acquisition, employment, regulatory compliance, data privacy, employment, financial service regulatory, and other corporate matters. - Arun Plus, a part of PTT Group, in connection to a joint venture in Thailand with Taiwan's Kymco Group, with respect to the development, manufacturing, sale and marketing of electric two wheelers, battery production, operation of battery swapping stations, and go-to-market services in Thailand
- Telenor Group, the Norwegian state-owned telecommunications company and one of the world’s largest mobile telecommunications companies, in connection to the merger control and antitrust matters on the merger of Thailand’s Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (“dtac”) and True Corporation Public Company Limited (“True”) to create a new company
- TMB Bank Public Company Limited on its approximate US$5.5 billion merger with Thanachart Bank Public Company Limited, and TMB’s related equity fundraising process through the issue of transferable subscription rights, which raised in excess of approximately US$1.2 billion. The deal marked the largest bank merger in Thailand, positioning the merged entity as the sixth largest bank in the country by assets*

Background
Niab has a bachelor's degree in law and international law from Chulalongkorn University, She also has a graduate diploma in law and postgraduate diploma from the University of Law and BPP University in the UK respectively. She is native in Thai, fluent in English and is dual qualified in Thailand and England & Wales.
