Richard is a Partner in our Financial Sponsors Group specialising in Private Equity and Infrastructure.

Richard is a corporate lawyer who has extensive experience advising leading private equity sponsors and infrastructure funds on a broad range of cross-border M&A transactions, with a particular focus on assets across the whole of the infrastructure spectrum. Richard advises clients on all stages of the investment cycle including acquisitions and disposals, co-investment and joint ventures, management equity plans, corporate governance, refinancings and corporate reorganizations.

Background

Richard studied history at the University of Edinburgh and graduated with a first class honours degree in 2010. After completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2015.

In 2014 Richard was seconded to the firm's Singapore office for six months, and in 2019 Richard spent seven months on secondment to Antin Infrastructure Partners.
