Stella holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology and Sociology) from the University of Melbourne. She was recognised for academic excellence by the Melbourne Law School, graduating in the top 15% of her cohort. She is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia.
She is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
