Stephanie brings a combination of technical excellence, strategic insight and human‑centred leadership. She has broad experience across litigation, advisory work, industrial relations strategy, payroll compliance, workplace change and transactional support, acting for major clients in mining, healthcare, banking, insurance, government and TMT. Stephanie quickly becomes a trusted advisor to her clients, and senior stakeholders, by providing clear, commercial guidance on matters of significant legal and reputational sensitivity. She thrives in complex regulatory environments, and time‑critical environments, maintaining focus, empathy and collaboration to deliver practical outcomes.
Stephanie also enjoys working seamlessly across practice areas —particularly on corporate transactions. Stephanie has acted on a number of landmark transactions and advised on employment-related matters within them, including acting for Suncorp on the sale of its banking business to ANZ, and advising GemLife and Ventia in relation to IPOs.

- advising Suncorp in relation to the sale of its banking business to ANZ and various employment and industrial matters
- acting for the Australian Diagnostic Imaging Association in relation to a Fair Work Commission review of the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 which focused on gender-based undervaluation
- advising Swire in relation to the sale of Kalari Pty Ltd, a specialist bulk logistics company to Qube, including advising on a number of complex employment issues. Stephanie also advised Swire in relation to the sale of certain HSE Group’s mining assets to Golding, including the transfer of HSE personnel
- advising Commonwealth Bank of Australia in relation to employment aspects of a number of transactions and industrial relations arrangements
- advising on a number of complex transactions across a wide range of industries, involving material employment matters and people-related workstreams
Background
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of New South Wales.
In addition to her time at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Stephanie worked on secondment with BHP during 2023-2024.
