Sumin holds a Juris Doctor (Medal) from the University of New South Wales, and graduated from a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) at Seoul National University.
Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Sumin was a journalist at a major Korean public broadcasting service and subsequently worked at an Australian public service broadcaster.
