Anna is a commercial litigator specialising in intellectual property, technology and ESG disputes.

Anna is an experienced commercial litigator who advises major national and international organisations across a range of sectors, from proactive risk management through to complex dispute resolution, including multi-jurisdictional disputes and high-stakes litigation. She is known for her collaborative, practical and strategic approach, working closely with stakeholders to achieve commercially-aligned outcomes.

Anna works with clients to strategically leverage their IP and technology assets and manage risks, with and without litigation. She has experience across the full spectrum of IP rights, including patents, trade marks, copyright, designs, confidential information/trade secrets and passing off, as well as seeking and defending urgent injunctions. Anna also advises on issues relating to AI, standard essential patents (SEPs) and FRAND licensing.

Anna's consumer law practice encompasses advertising, marketing and regulatory compliance. She has acted for clients in disputes with competitors and regulators, including the ACCC, Fair Trading NSW, Ad Standards and the Federal Court.

Anna's ESG practice draws on her advertising and consumer law experience to help clients navigate greenwashing and regulatory risks relating to the development and disclosure of climate and ESG strategies. She has acted for clients in significant ESG-related litigation and regulatory enforcement actions, including complaints to the ACCC, ASIC and Ad Standards.

Background

Anna is a co-founder and former Co-Chair of the ChIPs Network Australia and New Zealand Chapter.

Anna holds a Masters of Law (Intellectual Property) from the London School of Economics and completed a secondment to the firm's IP team in London. She was also an Associate to a specialist IP Judge of the Federal Court of Australia.
