Reza Dadbakhsh is a corporate partner in Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's London office. 

He advises on M&A, joint ventures, projects and commercial arrangements across the energy, infrastructure and automotive sectors.

Reza advises on cross-border transactions and projects in numerous jurisdictions across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. He represents major corporates, private capital investors, traders, utilities and independent companies on strategic investments, partnerships and project developments.

He has extensive experience across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas value chain, advising on M&A, projects, commercial arrangements and commodity trading activities from exploration and development through to operations, divestment, decommissioning and energy transition. His practice includes LNG and gas infrastructure, carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydrogen and ammonia, biofuels and green fuels.

Reza is Global Co-Head of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's Automotive Sector Group and advises clients across the automotive and mobility sectors on strategic investments, joint ventures, commercial arrangements and electrification opportunities. He has particular experience in batteries and electrification, gigafactory developments, EV charging infrastructure and the broader EV value chain.
