Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has appointed London-based partners Craig Tevendale and Sarah Pollock to co-head the firm's global energy sector, alongside existing sector head, Singapore-based partner Anthony Patten.

The global leadership team will lead the firm's strategy for its pre-eminent energy group, which comprises over 700 lawyers including over 100 partners globally. The practice advises clients on the full energy lifecycle, supporting them on the energy transition while driving growth and resilience in a rapidly evolving market, including focuses on carbon capture, energy infrastructure, private capital and the growing convergence with data centres and digital infrastructure. The firm's top-tier energy practice consistently achieves Band 1 rankings in key energy markets globally.

Sarah Pollock is a leading corporate energy partner advising public and private sector clients on complex, large-scale transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and project development. Ranked Band 1 for power, renewables and alternative energy, she is recognised by clients as “outstanding” and “a leader in her field,” with extensive experience across conventional, renewable and nuclear generation, as well as the broader energy transition.
