Alison specialises in the resolution of construction disputes on major projects.
Alison has over 20 years’ experience working with industry participants to resolve complex claims in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors.
Alison’s experience includes advising in relation to claims management and dispute avoidance strategies during the delivery of some of Australia’s largest projects. Alison has practiced extensively in Supreme Court litigation, arbitration (both domestic and international), expert determination, mediation and adjudication processes.

- asset owners of solar farms and wind farms in relation to disputes concerning availability guarantees, liquidated damages and defective works, involving adjudications and supreme court proceedings
- project company in relation to a PPP for the construction of a prison facility involving force majeure claims arising from Covid-19
- asset owner in supreme court proceedings relating to a major GLNG project, with claims exceeding $1.4 billion concerning complex matters of contractual interpretation, defective works and delay and disruption issues
