Cecilia F. Perez
Cecilia returns to the New York office after participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2024.
During law school, Cecilia was a student attorney at Georgetown University Law Center’s Civil Justice Clinic, assisting clients in employment law claims. She also participated in the summer associate program at a full-service firm based in upstate New York, working on matters across multiple practice groups including labor and employment, trusts and estates, and insurance.
Before beginning her legal studies, Cecilia served as the interim co-program director of the New York Midstate Council of Occupational Safety and Health, directing funding and program-related efforts. She also previously worked at the Tompkins County Workers’ Center, as an excluded workers’ fund specialist assisting undocumented workers applying for temporary COVID-related unemployment relief for people ineligible for traditional benefits, and as a worker advocate, handling settlements, compliance and policy analyses. She is the co-author of revisions to the Workers’ Rights Handbook (4th ed.), a practical guide to New York state labor law.
