Ed Purdue, Ph.D., works on intellectual property matters involving biotechnological, pharmaceutical, chemical and medical device inventions.
Ed provides competitive landscape and due diligence analyses, including conducting prior art searches and preparing infringement, validity, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Ed brings more than three decades of scientific experience to his work on behalf of clients. He began his scientific career at Cambridge University and holds a Ph.D. from Edinburgh University. He completed two postdoctoral fellowships prior to managing his own lab for more than 20 years.
