Maja is a projects lawyer and has advised on a range of major projects, construction and energy matters across the public and private sectors.
Maja has a broad commercial background with experience in a range of construction and energy projects, from conception and planning, through to construction, operation and closeout.
She has advised on a range of construction arrangements including D&C, construct only, EPCM, DBOM, BOO, BOOT, ECI, PPP, development agreements and others.

- Synergy in relation to its Warradarge Wind Farm, including the preparation and negotiation of the EPC Contract and O&M Agreement
- Horizon Power in relation to a pilot project for the deployment of hybrid PV/diesel/battery generation units/distributed energy systems for fringe of grid solutions, including advising on regulatory and licensing issues associated with the pilot
- Iberdrola in relation to the connection arrangement and power purchase agreement for the Walkaway Wind Farm and advice on the wholesale electricity market
- Aggreko in relation to the power supply solution for the Eva Copper project including infrastructure development and power purchase arrangements
- Sub-consulted to Fichtner to provide legal advice to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company and New and Renewable Energy Authority in relation to the 4.3GW renewable energy FiT program in Egypt
Background
Maja has a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Commerce (with a major in Management) and a Post-graduate Certificate in Chinese Law from Murdoch University. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2011.
