Sharon is an associate in the Energy Transition and Infrastructure Finance team based in London.

Sharon acts for borrowers, lenders and sponsors on a range of financings in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors across both developed and emerging markets. She has previously been seconded to InterGen, a major independent power generator with generating capacity across four advanced technology projects in the UK.

  • bp, Equinor and TotalEnergies on the £8 billion project financings for the Northern Endurance Partnership Project (the NEP Project) and the Net Zero Teesside Project (the NZT Power Project) in the UK (Global Deal of the Year 2024, PFI Awards)
  • the lenders to the winning consortium led by Austrian contractor STRABAG and leading global investor, developer and fund manager of core infrastructure assets Equitix for the c.£3 billion financing of the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP) project for United Utilities  (“European Infrastructure Deal of the Year,” PFI Awards 2025; “European Water Deal of the Year,” IJGlobal Awards 2025)
  • Sandbrook Capital and Voltwise Power on the acquisition and financing of a portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from SMS Energy
  • the lenders on a US$3 billion senior secured reserve-based lending facility for Adura, the largest UK North Sea independent oil and gas producer, formed through a 50:50 joint venture between Shell and Equinor

Background

Sharon completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Warwick in 2021 and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (Nottingham) in 2022. Sharon trained at the firm and qualified as a solicitor in the Finance division in March 2025.
