Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advising Hiscox in strategic insurtech acquisition

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is advising Hiscox – a leading global insurance company providing small business specialty insurance – in its proposed acquisition of Corix Insurance Services, LLC and Vouch Insurance Company from Vouch, Inc. 

In addition to expanding Hiscox’s reach into US customer sectors, this acquisition provides Hiscox with access to innovative, cutting-edge US broker technology and accelerates its ongoing digitization efforts.

HSF Kramer also served as legal advisor to Hiscox in its multi-year distribution agreement with Vouch, Inc, which operates in sectors such as technology start-ups, life sciences and professional services. The transaction is subject to customary approval conditions.
