Adil is an associate specialising in cyber security, breach response, intellectual property, and technology disputes.

Adil has experience in advising on all aspects of cybersecurity, from proactive counselling on emerging technologies to preparing for and responding to regulatory investigations. His advisory work includes compliance with UK and EU cybersecurity frameworks, designing compliance programs to protect business interests, board governance, investigations, supply chain risk assessments and incident response planning. 

Adil advises on cyber incident management, including high-profile crises spanning multiple jurisdictions. He supports clients throughout the full lifecycle of an incident from detection through to response and post-incident remediation. He also regularly delivers incident response training to legal, risk and technical teams to enhance operational resilience.

In transactional matters, Adil provides cyber and IP due diligence, negotiating contractual protections and advising on associated risks. His clients span sectors including financial services, healthcare, energy and technology, particularly in complex, cross-border issues.

With a background in commercial litigation, Adil also advises on complex technology and IP disputes, including breach of confidence, copyright infringement and contractual claims.

Background

Adil holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Lancaster and began his career in financial services before qualifying as a lawyer. He is a black belt in Karate, a keen cricketer and enjoys gaming to unwind.
