Andrew is an experienced transactional lawyer in our Energy and Infrastructure team in Paris.

Andrew advises on a broad range of projects, project financings and acquisitions in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as on related corporate and commercial matters. He has represented commercial lenders, export credit agencies, project sponsors and offtakers in relation to complex projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. He has a particular focus on nuclear power, having advised clients in connection with existing nuclear programmes as well as proposed newbuild projects, including SMRs (small nuclear reactors).

  • advising a small modular reactor (SMR) nuclear power technology developer on their participation in the UK Government's SMR selection process
  • representation of a Middle Eastern government sponsor in connection with the implementation and updating of shareholder and PPA documentation and various financing matters for a nuclear power project
  • advising a proposed nuclear newcomer country on various aspects of their nuclear program and procurement process
  • representation of ECA lenders in connection with the US$multi-billion project financing of an LNG production and export facility in Mozambique
  • representation of ECAs and commercial lenders in respect of the financing and monitoring of petrochemical projects, including the Brunei and Trinidad & Tobago methanol projects
  • representation of Japanese trading houses and utilities on offtake agreements, particular in the context of LNG projects

Andrew joined the firm in 2025 and is a foreign legal consultant registered with the Paris Bar. He previously worked with international law firms in the UK and Japan and is a fluent Japanese speaker.
