Bailee’s practice involves advising governments, regulators, major energy market participants and private capital clients on the legal frameworks underpinning energy markets in Australia, and the rapid regulatory changes underway as part of the energy transition.

Her work spans a broad range of energy market matters, including involvement in reform initiatives, regulatory strategy, and complex, first-of-kind energy projects. Bailee supports clients through project development, transactions and ongoing operations, helping them navigate one of Australia’s most highly regulated and fast-evolving sectors. Bailee is valued by clients for translating complex regulatory issues into clear, commercial advice.

Background

Bailee holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons, First Class) from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Sydney.  Bailee was formerly an Associate to the Chief Judge in Common Law of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
