Benjamin is a London-based associate specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration.
Benjamin has worked on a range of complex disputes before English courts and arbitral tribunals, on large cases which generally have an international dimension, and has also advised clients on difficult contractual interpretation questions at the pre-dispute stage. His work includes shareholder disputes, complex contract and trust arbitrations, and fraud claims, and spans industries ranging from sports-media to mining to telecommunications.
A graduate of the Bachelor of Civil Law degree at Oxford University, Benjamin specialises in intricate legal research and analysis, including assisting counsel at the trial preparation and trial stage.

- Hipgnosis Song Management Limited and Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited in defending high profile High Court proceedings where there are allegations of dishonest assistance and knowing receipt in relation to alleged breaches of directors’ duties
- working on an arbitration over the interpretation of a trust deed and contractual consequences for a high net worth individual and a mining company owned by him
- advising a private equity client on a shareholder dispute in the insurance industry
- defending a consultancy contract claim for a mining company operating in Ethiopia
