Edward is a solicitor in our construction and infrastructure disputes team in Sydney. 

Edward has a range of experience on arbitration, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. He has previously worked as an Associate at ACICA, and as an Associate to an independent arbitrator, during which he was appointed as Tribunal Secretary in a number of ICC, SIAC, LCIA, ACICA, and ad hoc arbitrations.

  • Owners of various renewable energy projects, including in relation to adjudications under security of payments legislation and claims for extensions of time, liquidated damages, variations, and defects.
  • A project company in a SIAC arbitration governed by English law, arising out of the construction of a refinery and petrochemical complex in Southeast Asia.
  • A private investor in an HKIAC arbitration governed by Hong Kong law, involving various claims under a share purchase agreement.
  • A major telecommunications services provider in respect of a bespoke alternative dispute resolution process.
  • A developer in Supreme Court of NSW proceedings in relation to alleged defects in residential building works.

Background

Edward holds a Bachelor of International and Global Studies and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney. He is admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
