Kayla has experience acting in a wide range of high-profile commercial disputes across multiple practice areas and sectors, including mining and resources, aviation and banking. She has acted in the state Supreme Courts, the Federal Court of Australia, and the High Court of Australia. She has also acted in arbitrations under the ACICA rules.

Kayla has particular experience in sanctions and export control matters, including advising clients on issues in countries across Asia, the EU, UK, and the US.

Kayla also regularly contributes to thought leadership in the sanctions space, including through HSF publications.

Kayla holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Criminology (Distinction) from Deakin University. She is admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
