Lucia is an Of Counsel in the corporate practice in the Madrid office, specialised in M&A and multinational group restructurings. 

​​​​​​She has experience in national and cross-border corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and multinational group restructurings; drafting and negotiating shareholders and investment agreements; venture capital, board of directors’ secretaries; and due diligence processes in a wide range of sectors, with special focus on Telecommunications, Energy, Infrastructure, Consumer, Industrial, Leisure and Sports.

She is qualified to practice law in Spain and New York (USA).

  • Interogo Holding, via its infrastructure investment fund Inter Infrastructure Capital (IIC), on the creation of a joint venture vehicle together with Ferrovial (Umbrella Roads BV) to manage Ferrovial’s stakes in a number of parking and road concessions in Spain (Serrano park and the economic rights of Autovía de la Plata (A-66)), Scotland (M8-M73-M74 motorway), Ireland (M3 Eurolink and M4 Eurolink motorways) and Canada (407 East Extension Phase 1 and 407 East Extension Phase 2)
  • Bestinver: (i) together with Tages Capital, on the additional acquisition of more than 50% stake in EV Asset Holdings (EVAH), current shareholder of IPlanet, a joint venture company focused on the transformation of more than 500 regular fuel stations into EV charging stations in Italy which is co-owned by Italian Petroli and set to create one of the largest EV charging hubs in the south of Europe and (ii) together with Macquarie Capital and Tages Capital, on the acquisition of a 15% stake in EV Asset Holdings, the SPV owner of 50% stake of IPlanet
  • Axión Infraestructuras de Telecomunicaciones on the disposal of up to 100% of the share capital of Axent Infraestructuras de Telecomunicaciones to Enagás Services Solutions  
  • RSG Group España on the sale of McFit and Holmes Place gym chains in Spain through an auction process  
  • Quarza Estrategias de Inversión on the sale and purchase of up to 100% of the share capital of De Antonio Yachts and its subsidiaries from its current shareholders
  • Antin Infrastructure Partners on the disposal of Lyntia Networks, main neutral operator of optic fibre and one of the main suppliers of dark fibre in Spain, to joint venture formed by AXA-Swiss Life in a competitive bid, valued above €2 billion 
  • Único Hotels on the disposal of Grand Hotel Barcelona, a grand luxury hotel 5*, to Schroders Capital Real Estate Hotels (SREH)

Background

She has a dual degree in Law and Business administration by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), partially studies at Università degli Studi di Siena (Italy). She also has a master's degree in International business (LLM) by Boston University School of Law (USA). She speaks Spanish and English. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association) and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).

Prior to joining the firm, she worked for other national law firm in Madrid.
