Rohit Biswas
Rohit has worked in immigration law for more than a decade, as a lawyer, paralegal, global immigration advisor and legal assistant, helping clients navigate the complex framework of U.S. business immigration laws, global mobility, and policies.
He advises on U.S. business immigration and compliance including I-9 audits, E-verify and Public Access File compliance. He also assists with family-sponsored visas and naturalizations, as well as nonroutine matters such as the immigration consequences of criminal convictions. He assists clients in drafting responses to Requests for Evidence for various types of visas, Notices of Intent to Deny or Revoke, Department of Labor audits and appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. Rohit commits significant time to pro bono immigration work, including handling asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile, naturalization and O-1 cases.
Rohit is a co-leader of the firm's Attorneys of Color Affinity Group.
