Samuel Goodear
Samuel is a corporate lawyer specialising in corporate governance, disclosure and ESG.
As a solicitor in the firm’s Head Office Advisory Team (HOAT) and ESG team, Samuel advises leading ASX‑listed companies on a range of governance issues, including ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act compliance, directors’ duties, board and executive succession, remuneration and incentive arrangements, company periodic and continuous reporting, and navigating stakeholder engagement and activism.
Samuel also advises on governance and remuneration aspects of corporate transactions, including IPOs and demergers.

Background
Sam holds a Juris Doctor from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne.
He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia.
