Shu Ching is an Of Counsel in the Singapore energy team.  

Shu Ching is an energy lawyer with more than a decade of experience advising on complex cross border energy transactions across Southeast Asia, North Asia, and the Middle East. Shu Ching specialises in complex energy transactions across the full energy value chain, with particular depth in LNG and a growing focus on new and low‑carbon energies. 

She advises national and international oil companies, utilities, trading houses and investors on upstream asset transactions, LNG sale and purchase arrangements, downstream M&A and commercial arrangements, and investments in hydrogen, ammonia and carbon capture projects. 

Shu Ching was previously a senior in-house attorney on the Mozambique LNG Project with TotalEnergies (then Anadarko). She has also spent time on secondment to Chevron’s Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa Legal department in Singapore where she was involved in all aspects of Chevron’s downstream business in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
