Tom is an experienced litigator specialising in complex commercial disputes and regulatory matters.

Tom is focused on disputes arising in relation to emerging technologies of all kinds, including ESG issues, cybersecurity, and privacy, as well as adjacent competition, regulation, and trade matters.

Tom is an experienced litigator who advises clients on strategic contentious matters and helps clients to navigate and resolve significant disputes. He works across a range of sectors, including resources, energy production, transmission, and infrastructure, technology & telecommunications, and aviation.

Tom grasps the most complex matters quickly and is a clear, calm, and commercial communicator of strategic advice.

Background

Tom holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.

Tom is admitted to practise as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.

In 2017, Tom was Tipstaff to the Hon. Justice F Gleeson of the NSW Court of Appeal.

Tom is a co-author of Bootmakers, Boards and Rogues: Issues in Australian Corporate and Securities Law.
