HSF Kramer is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the Sixteenth Edition of the Latin American Arbitration Conference (CLA 2026), the most influential international arbitration conference in Latin America and one of the most significant in the world.
Taking place from 7 to 10 June 2026 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires, CLA 2026 brings together more than 500 participants, arbitrators, practitioners and academics to debate the current and future challenges of arbitral practice. This year's overarching theme is International Arbitration in a fast-changing global context.
The official programme includes two keynote lectures and eight panels covering topics ranging from the impact of international sanctions on arbitral proceedings and the effects of global trade uncertainty on international arbitration, to judicial interference in arbitration, arbitrator liability and the conduct of arbitral proceedings.
Patricia Nacimiento will speak on Panel VII - Investor responsibility: towards a new balance in investor-state dispute settlement - which examines the evolving expectations placed on investors in international arbitration and the broader search for a rebalanced framework in investment dispute resolution.
Daniela Páez will join Panel VIII - ICSID: farewell and hello. The back-and-forth of states - which addresses the shifting relationship between ICSID and its member states, a particularly live topic in the Latin American context.
