Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advises IBEX on financing its investment in Softfolio

Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has advised investment company IBEX Wachstumspartner on the financing of an investment in ERP and HR software specialist Softfolio.

As part of the transaction, Bauknecht Softfolio.pps GmbH and Bauknecht Softfolio.sys GmbH, two independently managed companies with a shared history, will be merged again.

Softfolio is a leading German specialist in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and HR software for small and medium-sized enterprises in a wide range of industries.

IBEX is an owner-managed investment company based in Munich, Germany, that focuses on succession situations in medium-sized companies, in particular management buy-ins and CEO successions. IBEX invests exclusively the capital of its founding shareholders, supplemented by co-investors from a network of family businesses, entrepreneurs, and family offices.
