Kenji is a corporate lawyer combining M&A execution with TMT expertise.

Kenji is a senior associate in the corporate team, specialising in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings, with a particular focus on digital infrastructure. He pairs that transactional practice with a technology practice spanning AI governance, platform regulation, sectoral licensing, intellectual property, data protection and cyber security. Clients value his ability to close a digital infrastructure or technology deal and resolve the underlying regulatory, data and cybersecurity issues in one conversation.

Kenji advises clients across Asia on the regulatory questions that sit underneath digital infrastructure and technology transactions, including data centre and telecoms licensing, cross-border data transfers, breach response, critical information infrastructure obligations, online safety and platform compliance, and AI deployment. Qualified in both Singapore and England and Wales, he acts on transactions across developed and emerging markets in the Asia Pacific.

His background spans both privacy governance and technical information security. Kenji has completed the International Association of Privacy Professionals' certification programmes in privacy management and privacy law, passing the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) examination and the Certified Information Privacy Professional examinations for Asia (CIPP/A) and Europe (CIPP/E). He has also passed the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) examination and holds Associate of (ISC)² status. That grounding allows him to participate directly in technical discussions with clients' security and engineering teams, and to pressure-test cyber due diligence, technical warranties and incident escalation provisions in transaction documentation.
