Yida Xu
Yida has extensive experience advising on a wide range of international projects and M&A transactions in the energy sector.
His experience includes concession agreements, joint ventures, project development matters, and a broad range of commercial agreements, including commodities trading and services agreements. He has also advised extensively on major project documentation and long‑term supply contracts relating to LNG, construction, power and renewable energy projects.
Yida has worked for leading clients from HSF Kramer's London and Hong Kong offices. He is well regarded by and has wide connections with Chinese clients. His experience of China business is also highly valued by international clients doing businesses in the country.

Background
Yida graduated with a bachelor's degree in law from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master's degree in law from the University of Oxford.
He is qualified to practice law in Hong Kong and England and Wales, with a Certificate of Legal Professional Qualification in China. Yida is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English, Cantonese, Japanese and French.
