Arbitration in the Age of Strategic Conflict: Navigating Sovereignty, Sanctions, and Security
This session will explore the evolving landscape of arbitration amid geopolitical tensions and strategic conflicts. We will examine challenges arising from sanctions regimes, sovereign immunity claims, nationality-based biases, and recent arbitrator challenges.
The discussion will also consider enforcement hurdles and strategies to effectively manage disputes in politically sensitive sectors.
