Kathryn Oie

Based in London Kathryn principally acts for investors and landlords across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions.  She regularly works for institutional and private equity clients and is a client relationship manager for Aberdeen.  Kathryn values building long-standing client relationships, having acted for a number of clients over very many years.

In her knowledge support role Kathryn monitors and disseminates developments in real estate law, facilitates the development of precedents and guidance notes, provides training and assists in client development.  She is an active member of the Property Support Lawyers Group, the Modern Commercial Lease Committee and various HM Land Registry working groups.

Kathryn also leads on the implementation of digital and technology solutions across the division, a role that has expanded commensurately over recent years.  She drives adoption of new tools and platforms, supports their effective use by fee earners and engages directly with clients on the firm's technology capabilities.  Kathryn is a strong advocate of the cultural shift required to embed technology in legal practice whilst ensuring that lawyers maintain the critical thinking that underpins sound legal advice.
