Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer’s (HSF Kramer) venture capital team has advised Investible on its investment into National Renewable Network’s (NRN) A$17 million Series A capital raise. Investible was a lead investor in the raise.
Investible is an early-stage venture capital firm backing founders from the start of their growth journey and with a dedicated focus on high-growth technology enabled companies with a positive climate impact. NRN’s platform allows energy retailers to offer customers solar and battery systems without upfront costs or maintenance fees, with the aim to make the transition to renewable energy simpler and more affordable.
Investible’s backing of NRN’s Series A round is its third investment in the company, having first invested in NRN’s seed round in early 2024.
In addition to the A$17 million in equity funding, which will be used to scale its capabilities, NRN also raised $50 million in debt funding which will help fund solar and battery system installations.
The HSF Kramer team was led by partner and Co-Head of Australia Venture & Growth Capital, Elizabeth Henderson, working with senior associate, Roy Carbone, solicitor Devlin Greatbatch Murphy, and graduate Lucca Rolim.
Elizabeth Henderson said, “We were delighted to work with the team at Investible on its lead investment in NRN. Congratulations to NRN, its founders and team on reaching this significant milestone.”
