Devansh is a junior associate in the litigation and arbitration practice in the Madrid office.
He advises clients on pre-litigation matters, civil and commercial litigation, international arbitration, and insolvency proceedings across the banking, construction, energy, insurance, TMT, and Web3 sectors, amongst others. He also has experience on digital law matters and plays an active role in the firm's digital transformation.

- Berkeley Exploration on an ICSID investment arbitration against the Kingdom of Spain concerning a uranium treatment project in Salamanca, Spain, under the ECT
- a leading defence manufacturer on its representation in damages proceedings arising from the termination of a supply agreement, including claims seeking to impose liability on the client despite its not being a party to the relevant contractual arrangements
- a real estate investment fund on a dispute with the seller regarding pending works and construction defects identified in an industrial warehouse
- a leading telecommunications company on the legal and criminal law implications of two cyberattacks affecting its operations. The mandate included analysing the incidents, assessing potential criminal offences, preparing the strategy for the filing of criminal complaints and advising on the legal, operational and reputational consequences arising from the disruption of services
- a leading international infrastructure and engineering group on the assessment of its information security obligations under Spanish and EU cybersecurity regulations, including the mapping applicable regulatory requirements, analysing the impact of NIS2 and related national frameworks, and developing a tailored compliance framework to support the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 certification and strengthen the client’s cybersecurity governance
- a real estate company on a claim against an insurance company for the recovery of certain sums regarding a scam covered under the insurance policy
- a leading Spanish brand in fashion apparels, cosmetics and nutrition on two civil proceedings with claims related to the potential breach of SPA
- a British global financial entity on the strategic management of a portfolio of claims deriving from revolving credit card contracts. The counterparties to the claims are expected to be retail customers and consumers
Background
He holds a Dual Bachelor's in PLE – LLB and a Dual Master's in Admission to the Legal Profession – Digital Law (LLM), both from IE University. He speaks Spanish, English, Hindi, and Nepali. He is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM).
