Cyber security is now a standard business risk – one that legal teams must play a key role in managing and mitigating and, in the event of a cyber incident, responding to, recovering from, and learning from.
Cyber security and its intersection with the law has never been more important. This will only become more central in an uncertain world, with data volumes exploding, new threats emerging and sophisticated technologies increasingly adopted.
By developing a clearer understanding of the attitudes and maturity of legal teams as they relate to cyber security and related issues – as the HSF Kramer Cyber Risk Survey does – organisations can holistically enhance cyber uplift and education.
In addition, insights can be gained into areas where organisations are perceived to be performing well and where further improvement is needed, ultimately supporting effective allocation of resources and technology investments.
