Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSF Kramer) has again been ranked Band 1 across numerous categories in both the Global-wide and Asia-Pacific Chambers and Partners NewLaw Guide for 2026.

The Chambers NewLaw Guide ranks providers of outsourced and alternative legal services, LegalTech and LawTech platforms, as well as legal function transformation consultancy services.

HSF Kramer is ranked across six categories in the Guide and remains the only law firm ranked Band 1 for Litigation Services globally.
In addition to firm rankings, HSF Kramer has again secured multiple individual rankings in the 2026 guides.

Tuna Kutsal, Head of Legal Operations Advisory (Australia), has been ranked Band 1 for both Legal Transformation Consulting (Global) and for Alternative Legal Service Providers (Asia-Pacific Region).

Emily Coghlan, Digital Legal Delivery partner (Australia), has been ranked Band 1 for Alternative Legal Service Providers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ben Urdang, Head of eDiscovery (Australia), has been ranked Band 2 in the same category – representing first-time individual rankings for Emily and Ben.

HSF Kramer has been at the forefront of digital innovation in legal services for over a decade. The firm launched its original NewLaw offering, 'ALT', in 2011 before establishing a fully integrated Digital Legal Delivery practice in 2024. Bringing together specialists across legal, legal technology, legal operations and digital transformation, the practice now comprises a team of over 370 across ten offices worldwide.

Lisa McLaughlin, Managing Partner for Digital Legal Delivery, said, “Our sustained recognition across the Chambers NewLaw Guide, including the well-deserved individual rankings for Tuna, Emily, and Ben, reflects the exceptional calibre of people we continue to invest in alongside the very best technology, and I couldn't be prouder of what our Digital Legal Delivery team has achieved over this last year.

As the opportunity presented by GenAI and broader technological change accelerates, our clients remain our central focus. Years of experience harnessing the transformative potential of technology, working alongside our clients and in direct response to their evolving needs, enables us to deliver legal services and solutions that are both genuinely innovative and commercially grounded.

These rankings affirm that our approach, combining brilliant minds with cutting-edge tools and an unrelenting focus on quality, sustains our leadership and sets the global standard for digital legal delivery."
