Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer has advised Vinnergi Holding AB, a portfolio company of Polaris Private Equity, on the acquisition of German fiber optic company Vivax Net GmbH. 

The transaction is part of Vinnergi's long-term strategy to grow geographically, broaden its offering and build a strong platform for international expansion. In return, Vivax Net will gain direct access to Vinnergi's know-how.

Vinnergi is a Swedish technology consulting company that helps customers in the telecommunications, energy and construction industries to develop intelligent infrastructures. With 500 employees, the company is headquartered in Linköping and has a total of 25 offices throughout Sweden. 

Vivax Net Gmbh is a German general contractor in fiber optic expansion with customers such as OXG (Vodafone JV), 1&1 Versatel, Deutsche Telekom and energy suppliers. The company offers turnkey solutions for planning, approval, construction and installation of fiber optic networks.
