Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advised Comitis Capital on its acquisition of Threema Holding AG, a leading provider of highly secure digital communication solutions, from Afinum Management and the Threema founders.

Headquartered in Switzerland, Threema operates a secure communication platform that is consistently designed for data security and privacy. Threema has more than 12 million users and serves around 8,000 corporate clients, ranging from SMEs to global corporations, as well as consumers.

Comitis Capital, founded in Frankfurt in 2021, focuses on investments in European growth companies shaping a healthy, sustainable and digital future. Threema is Comitis' fourth investment.
