  • Correspondence between the Government Equalities Office and the Law Society regarding whether compromise agreements can still effectively waive discrimination claims under s147 Equalities Act 2010 has been published here (pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request).  The correspondence sets out the GEO's firm view that the drafting is satisfactory to permit such compromises and that legislative amendment is unnecessary.
