Ester Levy litigates intellectual property disputes involving core assets and innovations.

Ester represents companies in complex patent litigation in federal district courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the U.S. International Trade Commission. She works with clients ranging from established market leaders to innovative startups in rapidly evolving sectors including semiconductors, telecommunications, cybersecurity, computer hardware and networking, construction tools, consumer software and electronics, and pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

A dual-qualified attorney licensed to practice in California and Israel, and a registered US Patent Attorney, Ester brings a global perspective and a wealth of intellectual property and litigation experience to her work on behalf of clients. She provides end-to-end counsel in patent infringement disputes, from pre-suit infringement analyses, risk and exposure assessments and validity reviews through claim construction, case and discovery strategy, damages analyses and settlement valuation. Agile with both technology and law, Ester is able to evaluate IP assets and translate her technical analysis into case strategy, identifying potential vulnerabilities and proposing often-novel legal arguments to meet her clients’ litigation objectives. A core member of trial teams, her work includes trial preparation, pre-trial, trial and post-trial advocacy, and appeals.

With seven years of domestic and international patent prosecution experience, Ester provides global strategic guidance on portfolio development, enforcement strategies and cross-border licensing negotiations. In addition to her patent work, she advises on copyright, trademark and other intellectual property matters affecting innovation‑driven businesses.

Prior to joining HSF Kramer, Ester worked in the intellectual property groups of two prominent law firms in Israel.
