- International railway infrastructure insurer in the strategic counselling and legal representation in the criminal proceedings arising from one of the most serious rail accidents in Spain, which resulted in 46 fatalities and more than 200 injuries. The matter involved significant potential civil liability exposure, carrying substantial financial and reputational implications.
- an aeronautical company and its insurers on their defence in the criminal and civil proceedings following a fatal air crash in Madrid
- the senior management of a company on a claim for alleged unfair administration under the D&O policy
- a global agribusiness company on a coverage claim, against its insurer, in relation to the withdrawn of certain supposedly defective products supplied by the client
- an investment company on a claim related to the material damage and loss due to business interruption caused to a thermosolar (CSP) plant in Southern Spain, owned by the client
- a leading global insurer and its insured, a leading global engineering company, on a Copenhagen-seated ICC arbitration proceeding regarding defect claims in relation to the design of a Danish tramway project.

María holds a Double Degree in Law and Business Administration (E-3) from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE). She studied for the “Oposiciones” a “Abogacía del Estado” and Diplomatic Corps for 5 years.
She holds a Dual Master's in Admission to the Legal Profession in-Corporate Legal Advice (LL.M.) from IE University. She speaks Spanish, English and French at proficiency level. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogacía de Madrid.
