Theo is an associate in the Dispute Resolution practice based in Düsseldorf.

He specialises in complex cross-border dispute resolution, with a particular focus on commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration, and public international law. He has been involved in arbitrations under different rules including ICC, UNCITRAL, DIS, and ICSID.

He has experience with disputes in the construction, energy, mining, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors.

Background

Theo is admitted to practice in Germany and as an avocat in Paris. He holds degrees from the University of Cergy-Pontoise (licence), Durham University (LL.M.), and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. During his legal traineeship, he completed seats at HSF Kramer in Frankfurt and London, as well as at the German Embassy in Lithuania.

Theo is also a lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

A native French speaker, Theo is fluent in English and German, and proficient in Ukrainian.
